
KLOOF COUNTRY CLUB CODE OF CONDUCT

CLUB PREMISES GENERALLY
- No caps, (bar area) vests or beachwear are to be worn.
- Conduct yourself in a civil and considerate manner towards all.
- No racial, abusive or profane language.
- No rowdiness, causing a disturbance, drunkenness or disorderliness which is offensive to others present, nor conduct unbecoming a member or visitor or conduct which is prejudicial or potentially prejudicial to the interests or reputation of the club or others present.
- No verbal or physical abuse
- No illicit drugs
- No vandalism
- No political, racial propaganda or demonstrations.
- No smoking inside any part of the club buildings.
- No music to be played unless authorized by Management or a Management, Golf or Squash Committee Member.
DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURES
A member of a Kloof CC Management or Golf or Squash Section Committee, or Management (including the Duty Manager) may deal with any verbal complaints immediately and depending on the severity of the complaint the transgressor can be given a warning or asked to leave the premises immediately. The disciplinary measures available in the Club’s constitution may also be invoked, which includes the right to have a transgressor removed by the security representative(s) on duty or the South African Police Service. The club’s management committee in terms of the club’s byelaws may take further formal disciplinary measures.
NOTE FURTHER:
Any person present in the Club House (including the main bar) who feels aggrieved by the behavior of others and is of the view that the terms of the above Code of Conduct is being breached, has the right to request the Duty Manager or any other member of a Committee present at the time, to invoke the above Disciplinary Procedures forthwith.
