
KLOOF COUNTRY CLUB CODE OF CONDUCT
GOLF COURSE
- Recognized golfing attire to be worn. No Jeans, T Shirts or beachwear.
- Players are responsible for being punctual for starting times. (10 minutes before tee time).
- Players are expected to be well mannered and to behave in a civil and decent manner towards everyone else on the course
- No racial, abusive or profane language.
- No negative influences or behavior, which affects other players.
- No vandalism
- No abusive behavior to fellow/other players, marshals or any club staff.
- Adhere to the “Pace of Play” in keeping your place in the field at a safe distance immediately behind the players in front of you.
- Adhere to instructions given by course marshals.
- Adhere to the Club’s Lightning Policy.
DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURES
A member of a Kloof CC Management or Golf or Squash Section Committee, or Management (including the Duty Manager) may deal with any verbal complaints immediately and depending on the severity of the complaint the transgressor can be given a warning or asked to leave the premises immediately. The disciplinary measures available in the Club’s constitution may also be invoked, which includes the right to have a transgressor removed by the security representative(s) on duty or the South African Police Service. The club’s management committee in terms of the club’s byelaws may take further formal disciplinary measures.
